Summitec Corp. is an environmental services consulting firm that serves the agrochemical industry by reviewing toxicological, chemical, and product performance data under contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). We are currently seeking to hire reviewers to assist on a recently awarded EPA contract. The reviewers will condense materials submitted by crop and public health protection registrants into EPA-provided templates, and determine the submissions for acceptability under established guidelines. Reviewers might serve a primary or secondary reviewers. Applicants with expertise in mammalian toxicology, ecotoxicology, and product chemistry are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should possess an advanced degree in a relevant field such as toxicology, pharmacology, environmental science, entomology, or other discipline. Familiarity with U.S. regulation of agrochemicals is a strong advantage, as is past working history with the EPA’s Office of Chemical Substances and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP) “Final Test Guidelines for Pesticides and Toxic Substances” and/or OECD “OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals.” This is a 100% remote position offered on a part-time/as-needed basis. The workload will vary from week to week dependent on the specific contract, and Summitec cannot guarantee any set number of hours in any given period.
